Jim Wert is the managing director of Wert and Associates, a consultancy focused on building strategic clarity and organizational health for a wide array of corporate and nonprofit clients. Jim has more than 30 years of experience as a strategic consultant, initially as a Senior Engagement Manager at McKinsey & Company, and from 2000 to 2013, as the leader of the strategy practice at Triaxia Partners.

He served as the Chief Financial Officer of National Service Industries' Atlantic Envelope Division, directing strategic planning, performance management, sourcing, and mergers and acquisitions. Prior to NSI, Jim served as the Vice President of Marketing for Mead Coated Board, where he led market assessment, customer service, logistics, and product development teams.

He is an elder and active leader in the Presbyterian Church in America, a past moderator of both the PCA's General Assembly and the Metro Atlanta Presbytery, and the chairman of its 2018 General Assembly Host Committee, as well as the denomination's 50th Anniversary committee. He has also served on several nonprofit boards, including those focused on financial planning, education, the arts, new venture development, and ministry to international scholars.
